Ntop not working (2.0-RC1-i386-20110412-1951)

I am using pfSense-2.0-RC1-i386-20110412-1951.iso

ntop install went fine, I put in password and select LAN interface, reboot

but…No ntop ...

it is always listet as "Stopped" in Status-Services, clicking on start service does nothing

not a single ntop entry in System log :(

There are already many threads and a ticket about ntop. It doesn't currently work.
