      When I used FreeBSD router, it did not start the firewall,the router worked normally.

      –-------/etc/rc.conf--------
      ifconfig_fxp1="inet 163.17.xxx.254 netmask 255.255.255.0"
      ifconfig_fxp0="inet 10.200.20.70 netmask 255.255.255.248"
      defaultrouter="10.200.20.65"
      gateway_enable="YES"

      =======================================

      I use pfsense (1.2.3) set the lan and wan as the router ,
      If  Disable Firewall (Disable all packet filtering.) is not selected, Client can not connect to the internet,
      If  Disable Firewall is selected, Client can normally connect to the internet, but all the firewall rules are invalid.

      How should I to set both the pfsense router and firewall?
      Thank you.

        If you are only routing, and not doing NAT, make sure you have the NAT rules disabled (Firewall > NAT, switch to manual, delete any rules that show up).
