      Hi there!

I'm completely new to pfSense and so I tried to boot the system from the LiveCD for the first time.
But…. General protection fault while in kernel mode....

The system is a Shuttle Barebone XS35 with an Intel Atom CPU (D510 @1.66GHz). 2GB RAM and a 250GB SATA disk. (http://www.shuttle.eu/products/slim/xs35/overview/)
The DVD-ROM is external and connected via USB.

What could be a possible rease for this fault?
What can I do to get the system running?

Thansk a lot for your help and answers.

      Greetings
      Tony

Have you tried the USB memstick image instead of the CD?

Either way, in order to say anything we'd need a capture of the panic message, a picture or some other way.

If you get a db> prompt, type "bt" there and capture that output also
