      I'm trying to make serial console work but I'm not successful at it right now… Serial port is enabled on Bios, although there are no speed parameters...

      After reading some forum posts, tried with this two devices:

      # echo hola >> /dev/ttyu0
      # echo hola >> /dev/cuau0
      /dev/cuau0: Device busy.
      # fstat /dev/cuau0
      USER     CMD          PID   FD MOUNT      INUM MODE         SZ|DV R/W NAME
      #
      

      But I see nothing on the other end. Any ideas?

        Are you running a embedded version of pfSense?

              My bad.. Originally it had a 1.2.3 cd installation, later updated to 2.0rc1 and after that to latest 2.0 snapshot (current state)
