      I keep getting this error on my console cable while being plugged into my pfsense machine.  Not only at home, but on customer ones as well.  Happens about every hour (give or take about 7 minutes).

      /var/log/ntpd.log: Operation not supported by device
      

      Using full 2.0-RC1 (i386) built on Mon Apr 25 03:43:52 EDT 2011

        Looks like this might be the cause/fix…

        It's trying to log something but the code (before that commit to fix it) had wrote plain text to the clog file, breaking the clog format.

            On what snapshot? One from today? Or before? I just committed the fix yesterday, so it wouldn't show up in snapshots until late yesterday or early today

              Sorry about that… Not from today.. All my firewalls are running: 2.0-RC1 (i386)
              built on Mon Apr 25 03:43:52 EDT 2011

              I'll upgrade in the near future..
