      Already documented here:
      http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/845 (which was reopened)
      but the version of the patch being shipped in pfsense is broken; The final version is what's referenced in redmine, and this should be updated.

        ok, so, this seems to just be slipping by the wayside. i'm willing to make a git commit and send a pull request if that would help.
        having to build a custom kernel for a fixed bug just isn't really exciting.

          sure, just send a merge request with what you can confirm works (none of us have axe).

            Done. I'm working with the if_run driver author also; When the bugs there are fixed, I will submit another merge request.
