I've had to have my colo faciility reboot my Netgate Hamakua twice in the last 24 hours, and I wondered if it was just me.  I'm keeping mostly current on firmware updates, and my RRD logs are (unfortunately) blank for the times in question.  The only spikes I see max interrupts to 82, and that correlates well with the updates I'm performing on the box.  The Hamakua was running a different firmware level each time it had to be rebooted.

Is anyone with a Hamakua not having problems, as another useful data point?

I've upgraded 3 of them in the past 24 hours alone, no issues, using a wide range of features.

Thanks.  Your replies make me think I was unlucky and got a failure on the unit itself.  What I'll do is go down to the datacenter, install the new Hamakua, insert the old CF card, and see if the new unit proves more reliable using RC2.  If so, then awesome.  If not, then I will go back to the 1.2.x release and see how that performs.

I will report back either way.

Pretty well, I suppose.  I bought a second unit, configured failover, and watched.  The original unit continued to fail and got into a state where it was unresponsive even from the console, so I shipped it off for repair.
