I had failure with my internet connection a couple of times. When this happens WebGui got unresponsive.
Sometimes i reach the dashboard but almost never furter in the menus, and if i do it takes a lot of time.

As soon as i put in a new internet connection to wan this problem dissapears.

Sounds like a problem with DNS resolution. I don't recall the exact thing that is doing a DNS lookup that makes it slow, but that was the cause last time I saw it.

disable the system info widget (the one with the date/time/ram/UPDATE) …. i think the widget has a dns time out looking for the update.

that solved it in my systems

Thanks both of you, i will test it next time when the problem occurs. I can confirm that my internet provider has problem sometimes with DNS.

If it's a problem with your ISP, you might want to run 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as DNS servers – part of Google's DNS pool.

I have the same problem, but I was using TinyDNS.  Reconfiguring the name servers worked for 10 minutes.  I am now using dnsmasq because the dns server does not resolve.  The problem arise after upgrade to snapshot May 2.
