Hi, I have 4 pfSense routers - all of them have Squid/Squidguard/HAVP and work great.  They are all tied to a VPN (1 router is the server, and the other 3 connect back to it).  Here is the question.  Is it possible to centralize the Squidguard config, so that if I make a change (change a category, whitelist a site, etc.) that all 4 routers see the change - so I don't have to make the same change to each router?

      Thanks!

No, there isn't a way to set them up like that.

That said, if they are always connected and the others route all their traffic through the main site anyhow, you might be able to set the main site's squid proxy to be the parent proxy for the other sites, and then the main site's squid/squidGuard config would control all of the sites.

Not a very efficient use of bandwidth though.

Thanks for the response…I agree, I have thought of the parent/child proxy set up - but you are right, bandwidth usage would be very inefficient, so I don't really want to go that right...if there is no way to centralize the config, then we will just keep modifying them all :)

          Thanks!
