      Hi,

Today I woke up and found the compete set of servers under pfsense gone. I couldn't reach the pfsense box itself neither. I had to access the console via kvm, and it was there but, the default gw was GONE. Noone else has access to that box so… how can the default gw just dissappear?? Issuing a "route add default..." solved it. I was using an April 19th release, so I just updated to the last one (May 20 16:52:10 EDT 2011). But the question remains: how is this possible? :( I'd appreciate any kind of answer about this as I can't trust something that, just because "Idontknowwhy" decides to drop its default gw and stop working...

      Regards,

      Ruben.

Well, no. Only one ipv4 gw and another ipv6 gw over the only wan interface. It happened during the night, and there were no link failures (in this case, no em0 link DOWN messages). Anyway, on the Gateways: Edit gateway screen, the ipv4 gateway was always checked, and this pfsense has been running for months.

You're running the IPv6 brach? That's an issue specific to that branch, should post in the IPv6 forum. Seth made some related commits there today.
