Forum n00b with n00b questions
-
So I've been using this firewall I have for a long time now. It's a Nortel Contivity 100s, which basically translates to "set-top PFSense box". Admittedly, its by far the most stable box I've ever owned, and I'm to the point now of trying to expand its functionality on my network.
Obviously, having posted this thread here in the IPv6 forum, the big thing I'm trying to do is to establish an IPv6 tunnel. I've already signed up with tunnelbroker.net and set up a tunnel (at least on that end, I guess) and gotten the ridiculous number of IP's that they'll let you have. The problem I'm having is actually establishing the tunnel using my PFSense box as an endpoint.
So with all that having been said, let's start with the questions.
(1) can this device even be used as an IPv6 tunnel endpoint for the tunnel I've set up with tunnelbroker.net?
(2) if so, how in the world do I go about setting it up to do so?
(3) This may be a firmware issue. I'd like to upgrade the firmware I have on this machine, which is currently: 1.2-BETA-1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-06-06-2007. Where can I find an updated firmware version that will work on this box?
(4) Is there anything that I should know or look out for in the execution of this IPv6 tunnel project?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If you read the sticky when entering the board there is a nice tutorial linked from there on how to get your tunnel working.
Google might find it too, yep, it does
