      I was using a feature on 2.0RC1 (infact it was a bug Bug #1412), to change the password of individual users by themselves login to the web console. In RC2, that option has been disabled (bug fixed), now I dont have an option for users they want to change their passwords.

      All my local users are availing this feature for resetting their password for OpenVPN. Is there any way to enable the password change option back through the web GUI? Infact we need to have another rights for using the webpage System: User Password only to have a chance to change users their passwords.

      Thanks,
      Premod

          Actually i presented a new page and privilege for this.

          So you have to give users privilege to change their password.

            Thanks ermal, thanks for the sprit.

            In the new build of RC2 (Mon Jun 6 19:04:00 EDT 2011), I can see the "system: user password manger" page. But the users are not able to change their password through this UI. Should we give any other privileges as well to get this working?

            Thanks,

              @ermal:

              So you have to give users privilege to change their password.

              There is a new priviledge uder system_usermanager_passwordmg.

                I can find only one new privilege "Webcfg -'System: User Password Manager page' " in the new build (screenshot attached). After adding this one only the users are able to see the password change page, but not able to change the password.

                Thanks,

                  Typo from copy/paste. Should be fixed now.
