Save logs to local pfsense hard drive

Is it possible to save the system logs, firewall logs etc to the local hard drive of pfsense?
I have used a syslog server in the past but I want to log it locally.

Is it possible just to have the logs write to the hard drive and have them be viewable by pfsense, even after a reboot?
