Does anyone have experience with this part running under pfSense?

Searched and found nothing… VIA VT6656 controller chip, so I have my doubts.  Guess I just need someone else to say "no way" to confirm those doubts :)

Oh, and if anyone knows of any other makes of "USB modules" like this (that can be plugged into the motherboard), some pointers would be great.

I guess, in the end, all I really want is to get something compatible that I can house inside the case and will accept a pigtail antenna.
