New Build - Looking for M-ITX case with LCD or 3.5" external drive bay
-
Hi All,
I've just ordered a Supermicro X7SPA-HF-O board and need to find a good case for it. I'd like to add an LCD display for quick and easy troubleshooting. The Mini-box seems to be incompatible with pfsense. Does anyone have a good working setup with LCD, either in the case or mounted in a drive bay. The Cwlinux model CW12832 128x32 LCD module seems to be well supported but it requires a 3.5" drive bay, which is now uncommon with the death of the floppy. This Thermaltake VL52021N2U Element Q Mini ITX Case has a bay but the rest of the case is massive overkill. I like the Habey EMC-600B (aluminum, cool & quiet) but there is no spot for a display.
Does anyone have a good, working M-ITX setup with an LCD module that works with the package included in pfsense 2.0 RC1? Or an external USB display? I don't mind getting things separately and doing a build but the software is more difficult so I'd like it to run as-is.
Thanks.

Have a look at The M200-LCD. I haven't used it with pfSense or FreeBSD, just Linux, but it seems to be supported by PicoLCD.

It doesn't seem to work with the built-in package. Lots of hacking required.
