I just would like to see if this has been already reported or not. I am currently running 1.0.1-SNAPSHOT-02-09-2007 and I have also seen this problem on previous snapshots. I have syslog-NG on a remote server and I get this messege about 20 times per second constantly and it creates a 3M log in just a few hours.

"kernel: pid 31501 (sh), uid 0: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)"

I was wondering if you guys need any more information or anything you guys would like me to do in my system to help you see where the issue is. Anything I can do to help let me know. Also this system keeps rebooting is it possible to be because of this? I traced the logs and this error does not appear after the system rebooted it self. I do know that its only a matter of time before these start showing up again since I also had the same issue on earlier snaps.

Once again. If there anythign I can do to help, let me know.

Have not seen this or have I heard anyone else report it.

I would say that either your install is corrupted and you need to reinstall or there is hardware issues and or freebsd disagreeing with something in your hardware.

ok, IM going to back up my config. Perform a clean install and I will post my results in a about 15 minutes or so. I will look at the boot process and see if I see anything out of the ordinary.

            be back in abit.

Well, I did a full reinstall and I entered al the config back again by hand bacause the were several issues. Every time I tried the backup on the config everything would go back to having issues. I guess the config backup has something wrong in it. Another thing is that on the first reinstall, PHP did not detected the memory correctly and that caused problems too.

After a second install everything seems fine. Running without problems for an hour now with no issues. It usually reboots by 8 or 9 hours of abuse. I will know by tomorrow if this worked or not. I think Because of the fact that I was installing the 1.0.1 and then upgrading to snap and then restoring backup that could of been most of my issues.

Anyway, I do appreciate your help and I am thankfull for it.

              Thanks.
