DNS Rebinding and HTTP_REFERER Checks - Alternate Hostnames.

Alternate Hostnames
Can you use an IP instead of a hostname? Would putting these two addresses together work?

Textbox of Alternate Hostnames.
xxx.dnydns.com 205.171.xxx.xxx

Then would the HTTP_REFERER Check ignore both of these and allow me access?
FYI - I am being a modem that is handing me a natted address.
