What is the best/easiest method to place a FTP server behind Pfsense?

I’m currently using Ipcop, and I have all severs (mail, web, and FTP) in a DMZ. I would prefer to keep the same set-up, but I’ve read that there are some issues with FTP. I cannot make any changes to the FTP server config. I have plenty of physical interfaces available, and I have a public IP that is only used for the FTP server.

Will placing the FTP server on it’s own physical interface with NAT 1:1 eliminate the passive port issues? Since I have the available interfaces/public IP’s, is there any advantage/disadvantage to placing all servers on their own physical interface?

      Thanks,
      Mark
