How do you add new rules, for instance, for like games? In 1.2.3, it was easy to get to the list of rules, but I can't seem to do that in 2.0
      Any help?

In the web GUI Firewall -> Rules works fine for me so please elaborate (What pfSense build? How are you trying to get to the list of rules? What happens when you attempt that? What browser are you using?)

With limited time to read the forums I find it easy to pass over vague problem reports.

Like in pfsense 1.2.3, when you create the traffic shaper, you can then see all all the profiles made for your games. You can then click the + on them, and just add a new rule similar to them.
I don't see where the rules are in pfsense 2.0, using RC2.

Okay, I think I know what the issue is.  In 1.2.3 the menu option for the traffic shaper took you to the rules for the shaper as well.  In 2.x the "Rules" page is where the shaping rules appear.  So, you need to go to the Firewall rules page.
