Want IPSEC but worth upgrade?

Hey,

Just wondering whether its worth upgrading the 1.2-RELEASE (installed circa '08 I believe - works like a rock/perfect )on my WRAP box (superseded by ALIX) to 2.x to get NAT-T?
How painful is this gonna be? And is IPSEC in road warrior form relable enough to make it worth it? Has anybody got it working properly at all at the moment?

It would be a close call on a WRAP. At the very least you need the same tweak to get around the WRAP's ancient BIOS that was required for 1.2.3:
