      Hi!

I was trying to update from 1.2.3 to 2.0 RC3 on Jetway NC92-330-LF based on Atom 330 CPU with addon network card AD3RTLANP-LF but no luck. I got stuck cycling on interface assignment option.

The system works great on 1.2.3.

      Is there any workaround?

      Tnx

Usual suspect would be international characters somewhere in your 1.2.3 config. There were not supported before, and by luck some people managed to get them into the config without it blowing up (it would usually break things badly). Check your config over to make sure you have no special characters in use.

Does it ever continue past the interface assignment? Or does it keep you stuck in there? Or does it reset on reboot?

Doesn't make much sense that it would kick you back there unless it thought a card was missing, or it wasn't properly saving the config.

After removing addon triple lan card it got beyond interface assignement, but then i tried adding "problematic" interface, then got stuck again on interface assignement.

I have a Jetway mini-ITX motherboard with connector for a daughter card. I have a daughter card with one 10/100 NIC. For a time I had problems with intermittent interface reassignment on boot. Some tweaking of the daughter card position and adjustment of the holding screw seemed to fix it.
