      Hi!
Would reluctantly like to reopen this issue:
      http://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/show/320

I'm not really sure which field I made this slip.
Normally I try to avoid language specific characters, but it's very easy to slip on names.
It's really a mess to revert those mistakes.

      Edit:
Found in config.xml. Problem occurred during user add, not certificate.
                      <user><scope>user</scope>
                             <password>$1$voS4ofMZ$SDufXLkRwrzQy9tz2pNtt.</password>
                             <md5-hash>c7afc37cf335bba4da5053666ec77751</md5-hash>
                             <nt-hash>df48ebe83ecb13e40fd254e8afe2ac88</nt-hash>
                             <name>fredrik</name>
                             <fullname>Fredrik Bj<f6>rklund</f6></fullname>
                             <expires>07/06/2021</expires>
                              <authorizedkeys><uid>2000</uid></authorizedkeys></user>

      Edit 2:
Copied /cf/conf/backup/config-1309939479.xml to /cf/conf/config.xml and rebooted.
      Also renamed user in /etc/passwd

      Back in business!

      Edit 3:
Found out that there might be a restoration function in firewall itself.
After first reboot I was prompted as in initial installation. This seemed fishy so I rebooted again.
All seemed fine, but I checked files. /etc/passwd did loose the guy just added.
Question: Is this due to automatic revert or to the fact that I reverted the config file manually?

        How old is that install??

The fullname field of a user was renamed to descr back in October. That is not an issue on current snapshots (or any of the RC releases!)

Updated to RC3 without taking notice, but it was a recent May snapshot.
          Sorry for not noting.
          Backup file says <version>6.2</version>
Now it says <version>8.0</version> and descr is a CDATA field.
          Thanks!
