Considering adding QoS to my setup

i do not have FTP available via NAT, but obviously, people can get to the FTP daemons from across ipsec links.

would it be possible to setup QoS to limit FTP traffic to say, 30k upload, thru an IPsec tunnel?  does it matter where the traffic goes or originates from?

Trafficshaping inside IPSEC is not currently possible. Try to setup a limit at your ftp server. Most ftpservers support this.
