      I would find it great to be able to set custom configuration for unbound.conf from within the WebUI.

      What I would like is the field at the bottom of the Squid configuration page - the Custom Options field.

      Currently if I have a multi WAN setup and need to force some domains to be resolved by the secondary link.
      Thanks for the Unbound package! It has been a great help.

        I can do - but can you give me an example of what you want to put there?

          forward-zone:
          name: "snap.net.nz"
          forward-addr: 202.37.101.1
          forward-addr: 202.37.101.2

          As I have 202.37.101.1 and 202.37.101.2 setup to route out via WAN2 that should force the DNS requests out via that.

            Ok i see that it is useful. I'll add it. Ideally we probably want a page so that you can add 'forward-zones' and specify multiple and different forward-addr's.

                All done, just reinstall unbound, which will update you to the latest 1.4.12 version and under advanced at the bottom of the page is a custom options section.
                I have used the same syntax as squid so for example:

                forward-zone:;name: "snap.net.nz";forward-addr: 202.37.101.1;forward-addr: 202.37.101.2

                will get you what you want.

                  So I guess we can allow IPv6 ACLs using the custom section?

                    wagons: Awesome, it works as expected. Saves me having to edit by hand the configuration file.

                    johnpoz: You should be able to. It is for any native unbound.conf options. Just end each line with a semi-colon ;

                      You can try for access-lists, I havent tried it but I have a feeling it wont work and will probably complain.
