      Hello
My required PFsense set up is as follows:
From the telephone line my TELCO provides, an ADSL splitter from which an RJ41 jack plugs into the ADSL router/modem/switch. This box contains 4 lan ports, 1 Voip port as well as a functional wireless AP. The username/pwd credentials are set inside this box. It also runs its own DHCP server. I have 4 units (2 laptops, a Desktop and a Nookcolor) that connect to this box. Now I would like to have my PFsense in between my units and this box. I want to use a 2.x RC for this.   I also want to get a second ISP ( the WAN how ever comes on an RJ45 in this case–So it is pretty simple I guess ) for purposes of load balancing and failover

So basically my doubt is how do I go about setting this up?

      Regards

      Kumar

You need to put the ADSL Gateway into bridge mode so that it acts as a modem only, this varies by model. This will make it so that everything goes to pfSense and the ADSL Gateway does not do anything but convert the phone line interface to ethernet.
