Ntop on pfSense 2.0 RC3 (build Mon Jul 25 20:30:19 EDT 2011) x86

Hello,
the installation of ntop on the latest build (2.0 RC3, build Mon Jul 25 20:30:19 EDT 2011, x86) does not complete successfully. During the installation is shown the error:Downloading http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/GeoIP-1.4.8_1.tbz … could not download from there or http://ftp2.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-8.1-release/All/GeoIP-1.4.8_1.tbz.
of ntop-4.0.1_1 failed!then it just uninstalls the dependency packages and ends... am I the only one to have this problem?
Thanks,
Michele -
Try to reinstall it again now. There were some binary updates to the packages that didn't go quite right. Though the correct files should be up now.

mmhhh… I tried to reinstall ntop but the error is the same:
Downloading http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/GeoIP-1.4.8_1.tbz ... could not download from there or http://ftp2.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-8.1-release/All/GeoIP-1.4.8_1.tbz.
of ntop-4.0.1_1 failed!I am still at the latest build, it's still up to date... and I refreshed a couple of times the package list to avoid it was taken from the package cache...
Thanks a lot!!

hmm, ok, apparently that specific file didn't get a package or upload. Not sure why there. Though it should be installing 1.4.7 during the package install which should be overriding that. I'll have to look at it later (tomorrow or later in the week)

yes… here it's 10:31PM... I'm getting home veeeeeeery soon..

Give it another shot now.

… and it is on, it worked now, thanks a lot!

PS: now there's only snort missing... it's a month I don't update the primary machine in order to keep snort running in there...

Nothing else I can do about that one, the package maintainer has been working on it but I don't know where it's at. There is at least one thread just for that issue.

yes, I know… it was just "small talk"... ;)
Thanks!
