      Hi,
We have a situation where "Automatic outbound NAT rule generation" is not translating the source IP of any outbound packets.

When I change to "Manual Outbound NAT rule generation" all instantly works fine.  Ive seen this on the last two fresh installs of pfsense version 2.0-RC1.

The attached is the working setup where I can ping from the inside router thorough the firewall to the outside.  This same test does not work in automatic mode.  I have captured some packets and the source is not being NAT'ed.

Has anyone seen this and know what is going on here?

      Regards,
      Kent.

Thanks for the info.  Is this a known issue with RC2?

It's not issue in any rc i've tested, but here in common if you're asking help you should have always updated to the latest build. There are always lot of changes between snapshots.

Have you updated? does this problem exists?
