      Used the web ui auto update….

      Any ideas how to proceed?

        Do you use a cutom page for Captive portal sign in?
        A common source of upgrade problems are illegal characters in the config.xml file. I would go through it and check manually.

            No, I don't use a custom portal page. This pfsense box was for a remote user at home, to establish a IPSEC connection to the main office. Can't imagine there being any illegal characters…

            How would I proceed though? Reinstall 2.0 from Live CD seams to be my only option, cause it won't even boot now :(

              Do you have a backup of the config.xml?
              If so it's almost certainly quicker to reinstall and restore than anything else.
