Hello all. I Googled "pfsense 2 hardware requirements" and did not find anything. Please point me to the correct place.

      Thanks.

Thank you for replying but that is the 1.2.x requirements. I'm looking for the 2.0 requirements.

The hardware requirements are almost completely dependent on how much traffic you going to be pushing.
What is your internet connection? What size is your internal network?
Do you intend to run additional packages? Squid, Squidguard and Snort will increase your hardware needs.

The hardware requiements for 2.0 are roughly in line with those for 1.2.3. The linked page is a bit dated now but still holds true.

6Mbps DSL. six computers. all three (Squid, Squidguard and Snort).

You're requirements aren't so high, i think that almost basic computer with several interfaces should be enough

I agree, you should be able to use a relatively modest machine for that.
Are you firewalling internally? Filtering traffic between your 6 client machines?
                  E.g. Lan1 + DMZ.
That would increase the requirements as the internal bandwidth will be be higher.

Nothing major. Just being a paranoid freak :D.

It will only  be WAN -> LAN with all clients non-segregated/no VLAN. Just a standard home geek network.

In that case just start off with whatever hardware you have to hand and see how it goes.
