      2.0 RC3 x86 installed from June ISO running on a new Dell Inspiron 560 with 2GB RAM, P4 E6700 CPU, onboard NIC connected to LAN, PCI Netgear FS-318 connected to WAN.

      Static IP on the WAN and LAN.

      The pfSense seems to be functioning properly overall, however on the dashboard under Interfaces the IP shown is 0.0.0.0 though the WAN Interface configuration appears correctly in the GUI.  The console shows similar output - WAN (wan ) -> sis0 -> NONE.  If I go to the RRD graphs and look at the Quality graph it is blank.

      ifconfig at the command prompt yields the following output, note the two IP addresses (xx.xx.xx.xx is my real IP info, obfuscated to protect the innocent!):

      sis0: flags=8843 <up,broadcast,running,simplex,multicast>metric 0 mtu 1500
      options=80008 <vlan_mtu,linkstate>ether 00:09:5b:1a:f6:11
      inet6 fe80::209:5bff:fe1a:f611%sis0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x2
      inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0xff000000 broadcast 255.255.255.255
      inet xx.xx.xx.xx netmask 0xfffffffc broadcast xx.xx.xx.xx
      nd6 options=3 <performnud,accept_rtadv>media: Ethernet autoselect (100baseTX <full-duplex>)
      status: active</full-duplex></performnud,accept_rtadv></vlan_mtu,linkstate></up,broadcast,running,simplex,multicast>

        Does the same thing happen on a current snapshot?

        Do you have any Virtual IPs or anything that might be setting that other IP? It must be in the config somewhere or it wouldn't end up on the NIC, especially after a reboot.
