Pfsense seems to play a short melody through the PC speaker when the system is started. Also there is a beep when somebody logs in to the web interface. Is there a list somewhere of the events, which trigger a sound output from the system? Searching the docs for "beep", "sound" or "melody" didn't produce any results.

        No real formal list.

It will play a tune at startup/shutdown.

It will beep on login (but that can be shut off in advanced options).

It will beep a few times during the firmware upgrade process as the process starts and then when the reboot is about to happen.
