      Hi folks good afternoon.
I have successfully implemented the b/w traffic shaping in my RC 2.0 RC3.
but i'm confused about a situation

suppose i have allocated 1MB b/w to a certain IP.
Now i reduce the b/w to 64 kbps.
Then will the new traffic rule apply immediately or will have to restart the client computer or restart the firewall rule or restart the router
      confused :~

      Thanks

i love pfsense because i love open source.

You have only to restart the states of that user.

            Diagnostics: States

And there you see all the states, click cross to those states, what is used by this users ip-address.
or go to the another tab to reset everybodys states
