I had this for weeks on my main firewall and then it stopped. My office firewall had just started to do it when I originally posted this. I made a couple of changes on the dns forwarder page and saved. It stopped right after that…

So now neither does it...    You might try the same thing. Revert and see if it comes back ect...

            Thanks,

I'll try different settings. Which of the four check boxes have you enabled?
            My config is:

            • Enable DNS forwarder - checked

            • Register DHCP leases in DNS forwarder - checked

            • Register DHCP static mappings in DNS forwarder - checked

            • Resolve DHCP mappings first

I had the register buttons clicked and unclicked them. Im betting you can reverse what you do and still see the same results. Ill give it a try later…

My primary data center box has those clicked. My office box does not.

I think the act of saving the settings makes a change that stops the redundant checks...

                Did you ever confirm/resolve this?

I'm having the same problem and my <20KB/day of syslog entries under 1.2.3 has blown out to ~150KB/day with these entries.

                Thanks
