    Finally got this working though the setup may not be for everyone and is not very restrictive on traffic accross the VPN and encryption types allowed.

    Basically take this and tweak it to meet your requirements but if you have been having difficulty getting this setup then this will get you on the path at least and have a tunnel up and running.

    Couple of notes:

    After saving the IPSEC config the firewall froze up and would not give me access to the web interface.  I also experienced this when clearing the firewall rules.

    Also when changing the default config it took a very long time before the firewall would work.  Again issues with the web interface timing out.  Not sure if it is because it is RC3 or because it is running on an Alix.
