      hello friends, i have setup pfsense2.0 on a separate box, reading on forums and reading again.. :)
      have configured multiwan for load balancing and failover also configured lan dhcp 192.168.10.150-199.
      i plan to setup static ip 192.168.10.101, 255.255.255.0, 192.168.10.254 but after setting up for static i lose internet connection,
      although i still have lan connection and i can still ping .254 and ip of one dsl provider.
      please help.. thanks in advance!

        What is the ip of pfsense lan interface?
        What kind of rules you have in lan interface?

          What DNS server is configured on the client?

            @metu69salemi
            wan1 gateway 192.168.1.1
            wan2 gateway 192.168.254.254
            lan                192.168.10.254
            i have failover(2) and loadbalance for lan rules.. (have followed instructions on forums)

            @gruensfroeschli
            i let it obtain dns, what dns should i input in there, i have 2 dns from 2 separate dsl provider, which is primary and secondary?

            thanks again!

              If you can ping 8.8.8.8 while using static, then you have no dns server knowledge and you have to as an example 8.8.8.8 or pfsense lan ip
