      Hi,

      I am new to pfsense.
      I've tried to setup varnish but service is stopped. Got such info in log:

      php: /pkg_edit.php: The command '/usr/local/etc/rc.d/varnish.sh' returned exit code '2', the output was 'kern.ipc.nmbclusters: 65536 sysctl: kern.ipc.nmbclusters: Invalid argument kern.ipc.somaxconn: 16384 -> 16384 kern.maxfiles: 131072 -> 131072 kern.maxfilesperproc: 104856 -> 104856 kern.threads.max_threads_per_proc: 4096 -> 4096 storage_malloc: max size 20 MB. Message from VCC-compiler: Expected an action, 'if', '{' or '}' (input Line 77 Pos 17) else { –--------------####----- Running VCC-compiler failed, exit 1 VCL compilation failed'

      Attache varnish cfg. Is it bug?

            I have it working on i386, x64 and vm.

            Are you runing it on a low memory machine?

            EDIT

            I've reinstaled varnish on 2.0 i386 and all worked fine to me.

            can you check your varnish config?

              I am running this on vm on ESXi 4.1. This vm has 256 MB. Do you think this error is due lack of memory?

                Can you increase vm RAM and/or set cache to Disk?

                I think the problem could be low mem.
