WebGUI language packs plugins
-
Hi guys
Firstly let me say how happy i am with this beauty, running a P4 1.6GHZ with 512MB ram only using 19% ram capacity and 5% cpu capacity..
nice and easy setup i took me about 20mins to configure everything as required on a ADSL+2 10mb connection via Bridge mode.
Now my first querie is there any language packs available for the WebGUI, obviously i do not have any problems in setting up the correct configurations in english.
But if i wanted to translate the all webgui interface to another language pack, which source should i use, and how to do it.
As my other colleagues some do not understand the mother language EN fully, so i would love to translate it to ES = Spanish or PT= Portuguese.
Any hints are well appreciated
thank you guys
ohhhh by the way i am using the latest 2.0 RC3 version
kind regards

Hmm, not sure about changing the GUI language.
The latest version is now 2.0 release.

Found small bug in package. All files extracted in /var/tmp.
Need
(1) move all lang…inc(php) files to the /usr/local/www
or
(2) download & reinstall package new (before uninstall package 'pkg_delete pfsense-lang-1.0'). -

thxs i used your first option mentioned.
using wincsp i uploaded the pfsense-lagn-1.0.tbz into VAR/TMP folder
then logged in via putty and selected option 8 shell
then
cd /var/tmp
pkg_add pfsense-lang-1.0.tbz
now it works i can see the menu, will try to upload new translated file now. ;D
