      Hello All,

It looks there is a problem with LCDProc on pfsense Release 2.0.0 x64 when using the pico.

Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: Critical error while initializing, abort.
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: There is no output driver
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: Could not load driver picolcd
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: Driver [picolcd] binding failed
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: Could not open driver module /usr/local/lib/lcdproc/picolcd.so: /usr/local/lib/lcdproc/picolcd.so: unsupported file layout
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: Listening for queries on 127.0.0.1:13666
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: Using Configuration File: /usr/local/etc/LCDd.conf
Oct 2 20:35:54 LCDd: LCDd version 0.5.3 starting

The module is there, but the module does a core dump.

Could you please investigate or should I better go back to the 32bit version ?

I have for now removed the LCDProc package from my firewall.

      Thanks in advance

      Kurt

        Hi,
I confirm you that picolcd driver now works only on x86, to let it work on x64 we should upgrade the package to lcdproc 0.5.4 (see http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,41060.msg212067.html#msg212067)

        Ciao,
        Michele
