    Hello,

how I can get the revision of a network driver?

If I use dmesg I will get
    dev.em.0.%desc: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Legacy Network Connection 1.0.3
but in FreeBSD8.1 I should get
    dev.em.0.%desc: Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection 7.0.5
or in Frrebsd8.2 I should get
    em0: <intel(r) 1000="" pro="" network="" connection="" 7.1.9="">Best Regards,
    Klaus Pantleon</intel(r)>

dmesg is correct. We do not use the stock e1000 driver from FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE (which is what 2.0 is based upon).
