PFSense 2.0 Login

Does anyone else not like the new 2.0 login screen? I dislike it very much and prefer to just have the simple popup window asking for username and password like in 1.2.3

Any ideas how to accomplish this?

I much prefer the login screen :-)

To accommodate the other various authentication options (radius, ldap, etc) the auth system had to be redone.

The only down side is that anyone who can hit the GUI port can see the login screen - but you shouldn't be exposing your firewall's GUI to the world anyhow.

So even if you are not using RADIUS there is no way the modify this?

Not yet, no. Not that I'm aware of (yet)

It's on the list of things to enhance for 2.1.
