Panic every time set up carp vip

using v1.0.1 pfsense running in vmware esx3 server. have to 2 real nic. Assign 3 virtual nics to pfsense vm. 2 virtual nics are bridge to 2 real nic and third one is virtual switch. Using third one for sync carp interface as assign to OPT1 interface in pfsense vm. Everytime I configured OPT1 interface, whole of bunch of output (debug or kernel) are shown on the screen. When I create CARP VIP, pfsense vm have kernel panic.
Did try to reload pfsense fresh from CD. Still have same problem when configure CARP VIP. Keep having kernel panic. Have to reboot system. Sometimes it is back and others times keep crash into kernel panic when boot. Only way is to remove /conf/config.xml to get system backup and reconfigure back all the rules.

How do I get snapshot release? You mean pfsense.iso in developers area.

Please test a recent snapshot. I have added a patch that may resolve this issue.

I was having a similar problem on a wrap board where whenever the CRAP interface was changed in the web gui from LAN (the default) to OPT1, it crashed.
Installed 1.2 BETA 1 06-06-06 build and hasent crashed although I'm a bit nerrous about using such new builds in production yet.
