New install 2.0 webconfigurator missing
-
This is my first attempt at installing pfsense. I've taken care of one after it was installed, but never done the full install myself.
I installed version 2.0 from the CD choosing most of the default settings during installation. I defined my two NIC cards, one for WAN and one for LAN. I can ping my gateway from the 7) Ping Host prompt but I can't ping any other outside address, probably because I haven't been able to define the gateway in the gui yet.
When I connect to the LAN port with a notebook on the same IP range and subnet then open a browser to start the webconfigurator I get an error
Warning: opendir(/usr/local/www/widgets/widgets/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/index.php on line 76 Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /usr/local/www/index.php on line 82 Warning: require_once(includes/functions.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/www/index.php on line 116 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'includes/functions.inc.php' (include_path='.:/etc/inc:/usr/local/www:/usr/local/captiveportal:/usr/local/pkg') in /usr/local/www/index.php on line 116
but no gui.
Guessing I might have to modify a config file or something manually before I could use the webConfigurator I attempted to use option 8) Shell however none of the commands I've tried can be found, including "help".
I searched Google and the forum for similar error message but didn't see anything that seemed to help so I thought I'd reach out here.
Thank you in advance.

Something went wrong on your install, try to redo it.

That seems to have worked. I'm in the GUI now. Thank you. Strange with no errors that it would be different the second time around, but I'm happy it seems to be working now.
