      I have 4 dual NICs in my box and 8 modems. Only 2 PPPoE accounts ever seem to work at one time. And it's random, any 2 work. WAN and OPT7 or OPT2 and OPT5, but not all 8 at the same time. Any ideas? Am I asking too much? Do I report this as a bug?

          2.0-RELEASE-nanoBSD_vga on a 1G CF module.

          Board is an ASUS P4B with 512MB of SDRAM, 4 Intel Dual Fast NICs (WAN and 7 OPTs), and a single fast NIC (LAN).

            Take a look on system logs to see what is happening.

            All 8 networks are on same subnet? This could be a problem.

              All PPPoE accounts are from the same provider so they are on the same subnet.

              Or are you talking about the modems themselves?

                  Yep. There are precisely 2 subnets in use and a pile of PPPoE errors in the logs.

                  Switched to having the modems do PPPoE login and simply passing through them.

                    What are the errors?

                    The next version may fix it, depending on what the errors are of course.  8)

                    @jimp:

                    If your two interfaces ever have the same gateway, it will fail, and you can't override a gateway for pppoe in that way.

                    You'll likely need to let one modem do NAT in that situation.

                    That said, you might find this post-2.0 commit interesting :-)
