Logging of gateway latency / outage

we are having problems with one of our internet connections on a dual WAN setup on pfSense 2.0-REL.
This particular line is used only for VOIP traffic and the DSL line is provided by our VOIP service provider.
On our phone system (Asterisk) we are noticing periods of high latency or complete outage when connecting to our VOIP provider and I am trying to build a history of the issues.
It would be really beneficial if I could get from the pfSense logs, info when the gateway monitor IP has either a Warning state or goes Offline.
Is it possible to enable logging for this, or get the information some other way?
