Nokia IP330 install problems - Bootup Complete then nothing
-
Greetings all, long time lurker, first time poster ;) .
I'm having some problems getting 1.0.1 installed onto a Nokia IP330. Before I began the installation I read through this forum, and this thread in particular: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,603.0.html .
Following the steps from that thread I removed the HD from the Nokia, popped it into another computer, and ran the Live CD, option 99 installation. At the point where the installation requires a reboot, I shutdown the computer and moved the drive back into IP330. Using HyperTerminal (as well as TeraTermPro) I can see the POST, access the BIOS, and see the boot. My problem is that once the OS (presumably) comes up, I get a "Bootup complete" and then nothing, nada. From the above referenced thread, some report that it's a cable issue, and that what I'm using is not using a true null modem cable. In that thread a recommended pin out was suggested (see below), so I made one of those. Same result. "Bootup complete" then nothing. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
I've also included a capture of the last few lines of the bootup, right up until it quits.

Ok, I'm an idiot. Following this thread http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,3877.0.html I simply pointed a web browser to the default IP, and got in and finished the config from there.
Bottom line: Follow the two threads I linked to, and you should be up and running in no time.
