On my CARP master, I get xml-rpc failure errors, on the slave I ahve the red X on the TCP:s packet for the 443 connection.  The setup is as follows… All traffic on the lan is in VLANS, but he default for the lan is the carp interface (I know not optimal but for the time being I need it to work planning quad cards in lag groups).  Am I missing something on the master/slave rules?  I have specifically allowed the lan interface in, but it still keeps failing.

      Thanks in advance.

Create another vlan and assign it to a sync interface.

Then assign this vlan to a sync interface and allow all traffic on it.

I preffer using vlans to do not have many cables plugged on my firewall.
