HFSC and child priority
-
Hi, i'm new of traffic shaping.
A "simple" question about priority. Can I have a queue A with priority 9, a parent queue B with priority 8 and two child queue BA and BB with priority 10 and 11? The child's traffic have a priority higher than queue A?
Thanks -
HFSC doesn't actually use priority, it will soon be removed from the web interface.

mmmmmmm
but this is a pfsens's problem?
How can i use hfsc if priority is not used? -
HFSC tries to fairly share bandwidth between its different classes, if you really want priority then one of the other queuing disciplines would probably work better for you.
HFSC queues that use the realtime settings, do get their share before others though.

Why do you need like that greater priority than parent Queue ?

In the case of this scenario, how would you ensure ssh_bulk gets priority over ssh_login?
WAN
SSH
ssh_login - interactive ssh shell access
ssh_bulk - SFTP transfer
