    Is the chipset RTL8100C supported?

      I know RTL8101E is supported by the re(4) drive but RTL8100C was not listed.

        they give it for supported… but I personally never tried it...

              Ah, thanks for reporting back.  :)
              Any chance you could post some more detailed info like the relevant line from pciconf or bootup messages?
              It's useful to be able to compare pci vendor and device IDs.
