      Is there a performance difference between pfSsense 32 and 64 bit?

        If you are using packages which need more or equal than 4GB of RAM than you should use amd64.
        If not you could use i386.

        I do not know of any differences between performance but I think there hasn't been any "benchmark" in the past.

        Many people are using amd64 with 4GB or more if they are using snort, squid, squidguard, HAVP and other RAM intensive packages.

            Sysctrl Kernel default values to run squid,postfix,varnish for example are better on 64 bits.
