Hey guys just having some issues with PFSense 2.0 64 bit's dynamic dns updater.

      Namecheap
*I enabled dynamic dns at my clients namecheap account and have an A name for their @ domain, "DOMAIN.com"
*I enter serivce type = 'Namecheap' / host name = 'DOMAIN.com' / and password = '32 character dynamic dns password from namecheap'
*I save and everything seems fine because IP is correct and is green
*Check the logs and get this

Dec 5 10:41:46	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDns: DynDns _update() starting.
Dec 5 10:41:46	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Namecheap: DNS update() starting.
Dec 5 10:41:47	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDns: DynDns _checkStatus() starting.
Dec 5 10:41:47	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDns: Current Service: namecheap
Dec 5 10:41:47	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDns debug information: XX.XXX.XX.XXX extracted from local system.
      Dec 5 10:41:47	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS: updating cache file /conf/dyndns_wannamecheap'DOMAIN.com'.cache: XX.XXX.XX.XXX
Dec 5 10:41:47	php: /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS: (Error) Domain name not found

rechecked 10 times that I spelled the domain correctly, and that I enabled dynamic dns at namecheap. Wondering if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks!

weird admin.DOMAIN.com works just great, but DOMAIN.com still doesn't. In Namecheap's "All Host Records" @ and www are labeled HOST NAME, while I had to put admin under subdomains. I'll look into this distoction on Namecheap's side.
now i doesn't seem to work again for test.DOMAIN.com, could be that I just created that subdomain, but it also doesn't work for www.DOMAIN.com...

I also have an error with Namecheap DynDNS; I am away from my system so I will try the @.domain.TLD when I get home.
My error is I get a 400 Bad Request error from namecheap and of course it stays red.
If anyone has a known fix for this besides the @.domain.tld in hostname, please advise. Again, I'll post a log after work.

          Thanks guys.

Additionally and off topic: this original artwork is my goal. Also want VPN access into my lan.

I'm not a smart guy, so this is all trial and error. Anyone want an airplane fixed, I can help.
